Founder story
I started Koren Academy because I know what it feels like to struggle.
I did not always love maths. For a long time, it felt frustrating and mechanical: memorise the formula, copy the steps, hope the exam question looked familiar. It was only later, when the ideas finally started to make sense, that maths changed for me. It became logical, creative and genuinely enjoyable.
That shift is the reason Koren Academy exists. I wanted to build a place where students are not made to feel like they are either maths people or they are not. With the right questions, clear explanations and enough time to think, students can start seeing why a method works, not just what to write down.
My goal is for students to leave each lesson feeling a little calmer, a little more capable and a lot more connected to Maths and Physics. Results matter, but the deeper win is helping a student realise they can understand a subject they once avoided.
